Digital Project Manager

Hark is seeking an experienced Creative Liaison/Web Project Manager to serve as the interface between our clients and our design and development teams. This role includes being responsible for managing calendars, resource allocation, and workflows for many ongoing client projects and facilitating our once a week internal planning meetings. This is a lynchpin role in our studio and you’ll be able to interact with many of our clients and drive projects in the studio internally.

As The Creative Liaison/Web Project Manager you will:

  • Communicate directly with internal staff to ensure that creative projects proceed smoothly and meet all client goals, as well as directly with clients frequently
  • Interface with clients for updates and to understand needs for design and development teams
  • Maintain relationships with clients and third party vendors to facilitate projects
  • Maintain calendars, timelines and task lists for all creative projects
  • Develop and maintain creative management processes and standards across print, and digital projects
  • Develop and maintain both internal and client status reports for all creative projects
  • Help to create estimates for new client work
  • Proofread all project materials prior to release
  • Ensure that outside vendors have all the necessary information and documents throughout the creative process

Skills, experience and education:

  • 2 to 4 years of experienced managing creative design and web projects across multiple platforms, preferably in an agency setting.
  • A can do attitude to help solve client needs and shepherd projects thought the studio.

Full-Time Web Developer

Work with our creative team of designers, developers, and project managers, to help to bring cutting edge websites to life and provide strategy for the success of our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Turn PSD files into living sites
  • Provide ongoing support & maintenance for existing client sites
  • Apply and discuss emerging industry trends with our team
  • Aid in the growth of our team and success of our clients

Required Expertise:

  • CMS experience using Drupal, WordPress
  • Strong proficiency in HTML/CSS/Javascript and responsive web development
  • Ability to take PSD designs and turn them into fully functional websites
  • Ability to provide hourly estimates and work within a deadline
  • Knowledge of the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, PHP, MySQL)
  • Experience using git source control
  • Comfortable working at the command line with tools such as composer, gulp, and Docker.

Good to Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • ~3 years of proven web development experience
  • Experience building ecommerce sites (WooCommerce, Shopify)
  • Knowledge of basic Linux web server administration
  • Knowledge of any web development framework – Symfony, Laravel, Ruby on Rails, etc.
  • Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as Vue, React, Angular
